If you were not able to attend the Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, February 18th, please be advised that we have completed our Hurricane Ian restoration.

I’m sure we can all agree that the process was long and at times interrupting; but I also believe we can agree that the buildings in our development with their new roofs, fresh paint and repairs look beautiful once again! We thank everyone involved for their time and patience!

This week, a truckload of mulch was delivered – so its time to address our landscaping needs. As we have done in the past, and being cost-minded, we are looking for volunteers to help with spreading mulch.

Scott Klockow is spearheading this project. A sign-up sheet has been posted in the pool house. If you are able to volunteer your help, please add your name to the sign-up sheet along with your availability. We are looking at a March 1st work day and will start with the exterior of our association first. Once that is completed, we will then address the interiors.

Please let Scott know your availability via the sign-up sheet no later than Sunday, February 23rd. Details to follow as we get closer to the March 1st date.

Just a reminder that The Annual Membership Meeting of the Magdalena Gardens Condominium Association will be held poolside tomorrow, February 18, 2025 at 4:00p.m. Please make every effort to attend this meeting as your input is very important.

Please bring your completed Limited Proxy form as well as your completed Vehicle Registration Form. These forms are a MUST, as the proxy form will be used to establish your presence and cast your vote to the questions outlined on the form.

Plus, it’s been awhile since we’ve updated our resident vehicle list, so we ask that you complete this form and bring it to the meeting.

Pizza and salad will follow the meeting, as well as another fun and friendly game of Left Right Center.

Poolside social activities for the remainder of January are as follows:

• January 17th – There will be no poolside happy this Friday.
• January 19th – Back by request, Sunday Brunch by the pool from 11:00-1:00. Reach out to Carla Alburger in unit 513 to coordinate brunch food items and beverages.
• January 23rd – Another round of fun playing Left, Right, Center at 4:00 in the pool-house. Please save your dollar bills and bring them to the game. We had 10 players last time… the more participants the bigger the winnings, and definitely double the fun.
• January 24th – No Happy Hour.
• January 31st – Poolside Happy Hour 4:00-7:00.

On December 20, 2024, Sherry Danko sent an email to all providing First Notice of Date of Annual Meeting as Tuesday, FEBRUARY 18, 2025 at 4:00 Poolside. Please mark your calendars accordingly. A Second Notice will be forthcoming which will specify the Agenda and advise you of other important information concerning the Annual Meeting.

Secondly, there are two (2) seats available on Our MG Board of Directors. If you are interested in running for one of these open seats, you must give written notice, either by email, mail, fax or in person to the Association. The deadline to submit your notice is JANUARY 9, 2025.

Well, Well, Welcome 2025!! We knew you were coming, just didn’t think you would get here so fast!

But now that you’re here, we welcome you with open arms and ask that you to be good to us! I must say that we are much prettier this year than we were last year; what with our new roofs and fresh paint. More beautifying coming in the year ahead!

• January 1st – We eased into the new year with our first poolside brunch. Many of our condo mates gathered from 11:00-1:00 feasting over fine food with tasty and satisfying beverages. The event was enjoyed by all!
• But don’t worry if you missed this opportunity, because by popular demand, we plan to give it another go on January 19th. Details will follow.
• On January 10th – We will return to our Friday night poolside Happy Hour from 5:00-9:00. We will be celebrating January birthdays as well, along with entertainment assistance from DJ Denise Marie. (We welcome donations towards the DJ fee of $250)
• To change things up a bit, and if you have a few dollars bills burning a hole in your pocket, bring those ‘dollar bills’ to the pool house Friday, January 3rd, at 4:00 for a friendly game of LRC (Left Right Center). It’s a fun little dice game that will surely bring lots of laughs! You just might walk away with a few MORE $$.
