On December 20, 2024, Sherry Danko sent an email to all providing First Notice of Date of Annual Meeting as Tuesday, FEBRUARY 18, 2025 at 4:00 Poolside. Please mark your calendars accordingly. A Second Notice will be forthcoming which will specify the Agenda and advise you of other important information concerning the Annual Meeting.
Secondly, there are two (2) seats available on Our MG Board of Directors. If you are interested in running for one of these open seats, you must give written notice, either by email, mail, fax or in person to the Association. The deadline to submit your notice is JANUARY 9, 2025.

Well, Well, Welcome 2025!! We knew you were coming, just didn’t think you would get here so fast!
But now that you’re here, we welcome you with open arms and ask that you to be good to us! I must say that we are much prettier this year than we were last year; what with our new roofs and fresh paint. More beautifying coming in the year ahead!
January 1st – Weeased into the new year with our first poolside brunch. Many of our condo mates gatheredfrom 11:00-1:00 feasting over fine food with tasty and satisfying beverages. The event was enjoyed by all!
But don’t worry if you missed this opportunity, because by popular demand, we plan to give it another go on January 19th. Details will follow.
On January 10th – We will return to our Friday night poolside Happy Hour from 5:00-9:00. We will be celebrating January birthdays as well, along with entertainment assistance from DJ Denise Marie. (We welcome donations towards the DJ fee of $250)
To change things up a bit, and if you have a few dollars bills burning a hole in your pocket, bring those ‘dollar bills’ to the pool house Friday, January 3rd, at 4:00 for a friendly game of LRC (Left Right Center). It’s a fun little dice game that will surely bring lots of laughs! You just might walk away with a few MORE $$.

It’s hard to believe that 2024 is coming to a close and that 2025 is fast approaching. (to humorously put this into perspective, its almost 25 years since Y2K!!)
OK, Enough of that! Lets ring in 2025 with our Magdalena Gardens friends by gathering poolside for a New Year’s Day Brunch from 11:00-1:00.

It’s that time again my friends! Time to mark your calendars to gather poolside for Happy Hour before the approaching Holidays are upon us!
Our first gathering is this Friday, November 22nd, 4:00-7:00. You know the routine, BYOB and share an appetizer.
Our second gathering will be Friday, December 6th, from 5:00-9:00. Extra happy time required as we will be celebrating December Birthdays with our new friends at Denise Marie Entertainment! Let’s Eat, Drink and be Merry and Don’t forget your Dancing shoes!!
We will then break for the Holidays and regroup again in January! 2 0 2 5 !!!
Between Helene and Milton, it’s been a stressful couple weeks; for both those on the ground at Magdalena Gardens, and those watching from afar.
So Happy to report that we all fared well and can now breathe a huge sigh of relief !!
And what better way to breathe than to gather with friends, neighbors, and condo-mates, Poolside, on Friday, October 18th at 4:00 to enjoy a cool beverage, a tasty bite, and great conversation.

PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING OUTLINE FROM SHERRY DANKO RE: SCHEDULE FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT
Galloway & Velocity will begin staging at the guest parking area near the West End entrance, July 31.
On Friday (August 2), they will stage at the guest parking area closest to the backflows in the corner near the PGI Civic Association.
The schedule for removing tile for the first four buildings is as follows:
Week of 8/5 Bldg. 12
Week of 8/12 Bldg. 13
Week of 8/19 Bldg. 14
Week of 8/26 Bldg. 15
For each building, tile will be removed, and peel and stick put on. This will take approximately one week per building.
This allows for bad weather. If they finish sooner –they will move on to the next building-not wait until the next week.
They may work Saturday.
The crews will arrive at 6:30 am. Work will start at 7:00 AM. Cleanup will begin at approximately 5:00 PM.
We will provide updates on the schedule as they become available.
Building 11 will be next after 15. The crew will then zig zag back and forth. (Building 6 will be after 11 and so on.)
Schedules will be provided as we get closer.
WHILE YOUR BUILDING IS BEING WORKED ON, YOU MAY NOT PARK IN YOUR GARAGE OR DRIVWAY IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE. TRAILERS WILL BE PARKED THERE FOR THE TILE BEING REMOVED.
PLEASE PARK IN GUEST PARKING FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK YOUR BUILDING IS BEING WORKED ON. IF YOU HAVE PARKED YOUR VEHICLE IN FRONT OF FRIEND’S BUILDING,
AND THAT BUILDING IS BEING WORKED ON, YOU WILL NEED TO ARRANGE TO HAVE IT MOVED.
PLEASE NAVIGATE THESE AREAS WITH EXTREME CAUTION. ONLY GO NEAR YOUR BUILDING, WHILE IT IS BEING WORKED ON, WHEN ENTERING OR EXITING YOUR UNIT.
THE CREW WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO PICK UP NAILS AT THE END OF EACH DAY. KEEP IN MIND, THE MAGNETIC TOOL THEY USE IS NOT PERFECT.
PLEASE BESURE TO SHARE THIS INFORMATION FOR ANY TENANTS OR GUESTS RESIDING IN YOUR UNIT.
New tile is being dropped towards the end of August. It is expected to take one week per building to install the new tile. Schedules will be provided.
VELOCITY WOULD LIKE TO DO A FINAL BASE LINE INSPECTION OF THE UNITS. I DO NOT HAVE KEYS FOR MANY OF YOU. IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE SEND ME A KEY SO WE CAN ACCESS YOUR UNIT.

We’ve received a few reports that the gates at Magdalena and West End Drive have not worked when using the remotes. Both gates were tested with remotes and both have worked.
If you are having trouble, first try replacing the battery in your remote. Second, point the remote towards the receiver. If this doesn’t solve the problem, manually enter 0309 on the key pad and reach out to Sherry Danko for a replacement.
