The annual membership meeting will be held at the poolside cabana on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 4 p.m. A packet was emailed and mailed out about the meeting along with several items to vote on. Your participation in the annual meeting is greatly appreciated and your vote matters! The letter for this meeting is also available on the Magdalena webpage under “Resident” tab and “Meeting Notes & Letters”. We look forward to seeing everyone at this annual meeting!!

The financials for November 2022 have now been posted. In addition, the 2023 budget letter (dated 12/13/22) has also been posted. If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors, your “Notice of Intent” must be submitted to Sherry Danko on or before January 14, 2023. This information is also included in the letter she sent out in December. Please contact Sherry with any questions you may have. Thank you!
The gates are now closed and can be opened using your remote control or the gate code. You don’t need either to leave, as there is a sensor on both exit gates. If you are expecting a delivery or service, please be available to let them in or provide a contact phone number so you can give them the code to enter.
As there are fewer people in residence during the summer months, and as it appears we may have a few unfamiliar vehicles driving through the community, the Board decided to close the gates 24/7 effective July 1, 2022. Please be sure to have remotes with you and as a reminder, the gate code is available on the Magdalena Gardens web page. The Board will revisit closure hours in Fall when you are back to full capacity. Please be sure to notify your tenants and guests.

A bobcat was spotted early one morning last week, walking between building 1 & 2. Please note that you should never approach these animals! They tend to feed on squirrels, rabbits, rats, ferrel cats, etc. They are also scavengers, so never leave trash outside uncovered or small pets unattended.
